| \\\The Chronicles of.... Josh..-ia?/// Alright Kids, I suppose it's time to start my little journal/blog/thingy.
A Little about me:
I'm 20 years old. I was born in Seoul, South Korea and adopted into a wonderful Christian family when I was 8 months old. I grew up in Colorado and have lived there the majority of my life. I've grown (both physically and spiritually) up in the same church and miss it very much.
I am an A1C in the US Air Force working at Vandenberg AFB, CA. I've been here for over half a year and enjoy it, although more often than not I find myself longing for home. Being in the military is tough, and tough on the "love" life as well, so I'm just a single guy living on base.
I enjoy skateboarding, snowboarding, music, fast cars, playing guitar, video games and hangin out with my buddies. I listen to an eclectic scope of music, ranging from punk and emo down to jazz and classical. I am excited about being a part of this forum and a part of this "family."
Before this really ends up sounding like an ad in the personal's section, I guess that's about all I have to say. Jesus is the Cornerstone of my life, how about yours? |

| Hey Chelsea!
I've been snowboarding for 10 years, playing guitar for 12, and skating for 6 (but I suck at that). Musically, I dig on punk, emo, anything that rocks. I like Switchfoot, Something Corporate, Yellowcard, Relient K, Dashboard Confessional... you? I don't have a picture right now... but I can tell you that I'm handsome, charming, good-looking, and a pathological liar.
I'll get a pic as soon as I can. Cool? See ya around! |

| Hey Josh
So, you're into Switchfoot, awesome band. Phats got me into that band, I'd never heard of them before June this year and I went and saw them play in September man it rocked!
I've never heard any Something Corporate, Yellowcard, Relient K, or Dashboard Confessional music, have to check them out. (until March this year I went to a church that only listened to the Lads, Hillsongs and Parachute band so I'm discovering great bands now, those bands were good but I'm more into rock kinda stuff.)
Watch out for Chester the Molester

| Dude, ask just about anyone on CGR and they'll tell you Relient K rocks. I'm a big emo fan, so Dashboard and Something Corporate really fit my style. Check out Dashboards first full length album "Places we have come to fear the most." It's nearly all acoustic work. The lead singer/guitarist Chris really likes using great crazy alternate tunings on his guitars (if you're a guitar fan). Their new album "A Mark, A Mission, A Scar" is really good too. Also two of Something Corporate's albums "North" (their new one) and "Leaving through the window" were great. Something Corporate's style is very broad, a little deeper musically than bands like Relient K. To me they're a lot like counterparts of Switchfoot. If you're looking for more bands like Relient K, Yellowcard has a great "punky" sound. And of course, my favorite band ever is Juliana Theory. A lot of people haven't heard of 'em, although I'm finding more and more people who have. They're just awesome. Really passionate music. My favorite album of theirs is "Emotion is Dead," although their new album "Love" is very good. So are their first two albums "Understand this is a Dream" and "Music from another room." Check em out, my friend! |
